Sales-Retail: Wholesale-Reselling Sales

Job Description:

Congratulations! You have just inquired about a full time sales position with Glow Industries! We are a highly respected, motivated and very experienced B to B wholesale distributor in the smoking accessories industry. Glow has been distributing smoking accessories for 25 years and it is the most respected and dynamic company in this space. We are looking for other highly motivated individuals with a deep passion and desire to be in this emerging industry. Starting pay is $35K+ but huge advancement potential as we take the world by storm. A few qualifications are needed or please move on:

2nd note: Sales experience is not just dealing with the public. That is customer service. Sales is closing deals, cold calling, followup with face to face and phone conversations. Sales is your entire job not one facet of what you do. This is the experience required.

Duties of a Sales Representative

  • Type in customer orders within 24 hrs
  • Market yourself to the customer to increase customer relationships
  • Handle credits and returns of products within the business week received
  • Post relevant social media on Facebook and Instagram 3-5 times per week
  • Organize vendor files with relevant buying patterns accessible at all times
  • Return customer calls within 24 hours
  • Travel to trade shows 1-2 times per year
  • Excellent computer skills including, Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM
  • Create one new sales strategy per month, use it, and evaluate its success
  • Generate a minimum of 10 new leads per week
  • Work with other departments to problem solve issues as they arise
  • Travel to generate or maintain current business in the U.S. 1-3 times per year
  • Ability to answer the overview questions of all Glow product lines in 90 days
  • Within first 90 days know when all buyers are available at your stores
  • Evaluate your sales numbers monthly to determine what has been successful
  • Set new sales goals each month with a growth rate of 3-5% per month
  • Read one article per week on Marketing or Sales and share it with sales staff
  • Assist other departments with their “Red” ticket items weekly
  • Maintain open and direct communication with your manager at all times

Basic Compensation for a Sales Rep:

  • Paid vacation
