OSITION SUMMARY

The Facility Compliance and Inventory Manager (“FCM”) is responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative and compliance operations of all COMPANY facilities in accordance with State laws, regulations and Cresco Lab standards. The FCM provides support for all members of Cresco Labs management and administration teams, including compliance, inventory, packaging and quality control departments.

The FCM’s responsibilities include serving as a channel of communication to receive and direct compliance issues to appropriate resources for investigation and resolution; serving as a final internal resource with which concerned parties may communicate after other formal channels and resources have been exhausted; overseeing all inventory functions and managers; assuring, in coordination with the General Manager, that all recordkeeping and reporting is carried out in compliance.

The FCM is responsible for ensuring Cresco Labs guidelines are followed throughout all Cresco Labs operations and is responsible for developing the company’s inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits, generating savings, rationalizing inventory and maximizing available working capital.

CORE JOB DUTIES

Compliance Program

Help Develop, maintain and evaluate Cresco policies and procedures throughout all operations and review the policies and procedures manual quarterly.
Ensures all facility staff is properly trained and informed with changes in regulations, laws and policies and procedures.
Direct the implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures throughout the organization.
Advise internal management on the implementation or operation of compliance programs.
Provide assistance to internal or external auditors in compliance reviews.
Monitor compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness.
Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures.
Prepare management reports regarding compliance operations and progress.

 

Human Resources: Coordinate with 3rd party provider to:

Ensure all required paperwork and documentation is collected for each staff member and contractor.
Ensures all staff is properly trained and informed with changes in regulations, laws and policies and procedures.
Responsible for providing human resource materials to employees and submitting completed documentation to the appropriate recipient.

 

Inventory Control:

Oversee the proper and timely production or ordering and distribution of all products, merchandise, and office supplies to Cresco Lab locations.
Ensures inventory counts are being performed on schedule with acceptable results, and the proper documentation is being executed and filed.
Responsible for the settlement of all inventory discrepancies and reporting the resolution of such discrepancies.
Develop monthly summary for the EVP of Operations of all inventory discrepancies and how the issues have been resolved and/or mitigated.

 

Reports and Documentation:

 

Maintain accurate records of all financial activities in accordance with State laws and regulations.

 

Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as applications and reports submitted, complaints received, or investigation outcomes.
Perform consistent audits to ensure adherence with all Cresco Lab policies and procedures.

 

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

Familiarity with operational, financial, quality assurance, and human resources and procedures and regulations. A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or other relevant business experience or degrees. Two years of experience in a position with managerial and book-keeping responsibilities.  Thorough understanding of state and local medical marijuana laws and how they apply to the operations of Cresco Labs.  Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.  Effective time-management and ability to multi-task.  Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.  Proficiency in windows-based software and point of sale applications.
