The rapid expansion of our global brand has us in search of a talented and dedicated Sales and Marketing Manager, with a track record of taking businesses and brands to the next level!

Dutch Master Nutrients, established in 1998, is an internationally renowned manufacturer and leader in the plant nutrition market. Currently with the Gold Range products selling in retail garden stores internationally, Dutch Master is soon to release the new Commercial Edition range of cannabis-specific plant nutrient products – to be marketed and sold direct to legal commercial cannabis cultivators internationally!

As an international brand established for 17 years, we have recently undergone a revamping of our branding and embarked on exciting new projects to further our presence within the progressive legal cannabis industry. It is now time to publically unveil our latest advancements, using a strategic, modern approach!

This position will be responsible for the management of our international sales team, as well as implementing, managing and analyzing marketing strategies to ensure growth of Dutch Master Nutrients and other brands within our corporate umbrella.

We seek someone that is experienced in B2B sales, B2C sales, e-commerce, digital marketing, social media and leading a sales team by example.

An understanding of the cannabis industry is of benefit, but is not detrimental provided you have experience in like-minded brand awareness.

Responsibilities include:

Sales team management
Sales and marketing strategy development and implementation
Marketing across several platforms including digital, social media, print, tradeshow & events
Implementing educational marketing tools i.e. webinars
Managing website and social media content
Planning, writing and editing newsletters, press releases and marketing content
Tradeshow and event planning and execution
Sales reporting and analysis
Managing sales/marketing targets and budgets
Monitoring marketing performance, ROI and metrics
Develop and adhere to schedules and deadlines to ensure timelines are met
Remain current on modern marketing trends and best practices
Market research and competitor awareness
Legislative awareness related to sales and marketing
Customer relationship management Recruiting and training

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years Sales and Marketing Management experience
Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field
Proven track record in B2B / B2C sales/marketing
Knowledge of e-commerce sales and marketing strategies
Proactive team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
Strong grammar, spelling, copywriting and proofreading abilities
Sound knowledge and experience of all social media platforms
Experience interpreting analytics and evaluating ROI
Experience in team management and training
Ability to multitask and a keen attention to detail
Works independently but functions effectively as part of the team
Creative mindset including the ability to take ideas from concept to final product
Ability to work some evenings/weekends with some travel requirements
Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, reporting techniques
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous but not required
A minimum of 3 professional references

Compensation will consist of a generous wage and healthy commission commensurate with the applicant’s experience and skillset.

*Applicants applying outside of Washington State, must be willing and able to relocate immediately.
