Job Description:

Seeking energetic and highly motivated inside sales team member with strong lead generation abilities to become a part of a fun and dynamic team in the rapidly growing and newly developing cannabis marketplace in the US. We are seeking individuals with strong communication skills, high levels of customer service, pride themselves on self-discipline, and thrive on qualifying and prospecting in business to business sales. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in an energetic and expanding business.

The position reports directly to the President of Sage Analytics. The Account Executive will educate and inform labs, MIPs, dispensaries, legislators, physicians and business owners about Sage Analytics cutting edge technology for industry advancement and standardization. The position will generate sales via in person visits and demonstrations, and phone outreach combined with email communication. This full-time position, has openings in Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Northern CA, Southern CA and Colorado. The position is compensated with a base salary plus incentive compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet and exceed assigned revenue quota on a quarterly basis.
Work to fine tune messaging and campaigns that lead to stronger conversion rates.
Qualify prospects via in person meetings, phone, email or online meetings.
Identify target prospects and generate interest through cold calling.
Perform database and record keeping activities, including Salesforce.com/Zoho
Mail marketing collateral to prospects and clients.
Build a territory plan to meet and exceed quarterly revenue goals.

Job Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience:

Inside sales experience in the technology, pharmaceutical or cannabis industries.
Emphasis on lead generation is preferred.
Proven success of driving interest and qualifying prospects.
Provide prospects with an easy-to-understand description of Sage Analytics value proposition.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Ability to work effectively in a self-directed, fast paced environment with multiple priorities.
Experience in Business-to-Business sales/lead generation is helpful.
Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Zoho or other CRM systems.
Strong understanding of web based advertising, Social Media Networks.
